Career Center


Womens leadership Conference
Manchester High School and the Manchester Youth Service Bureau are co-sponsoring a Women's Leadership Conference to be held at Camp Hemlocks in Hebron on June 3. The conference is open to female students in grades 9 through 12. Space is limited. Permission slips are available in the Career Center.



Guidance


MCC partnership Program
Seniors and juniors with a B average can earn college credit now for free, through the MCC Partnership Program. Registration for the fall semester is due by June 7th. See your guidance counselor or Mr. Snuffer to learn more about the MCC Partnership Program and to get registration information.


New England Tech Open House

Performing Arts


Marching Band members
Attention fall marching band members. There will be a short, but very important planning meeting for all fall marching band members from 2:15 until 3:00 on Monday May 20 in the band room. Please make plans to attend.This meeting is only for those students who were members of the fall 2012 marching band. New members will be invited to join very soon.


Roundtable Anniversary Concert
In 1938, The Manchester High School Roundtable Singers were formed. For the past 75 years, this group has brought quality music to our school and community, and have been ambassadors of MHS to the rest of the country. On Monday, May 20, at 7:30 pm, in Bailey Auditorium, we will be celebrating this very special 75th anniversary. Please join us for a free concert featuring the MHS Chorus, Chorale, Roundtable Singers, Jazz Choir, Women's Choir, Handbell Choir, and three special alumni groups, including the 180-voice Diamond Anniversary Chorus. We hope to see you there!



Scholarships


The VietCT Inc. Scholarship
The VietCT Inc. Scholarship - Students must be graduating seniors of Vietnamese descent who will be entering college in the fall. Information and applications are available in the Guidance Office, rm. 117 or online at: www.vietct.org. Deadline - 6/25/13.



Student Activities


Cap & Gown
Any senior who has not been measured for their cap & gown may do so anytime in Ms. Wabbles office, room 189. Cost is now $25 and can be paid by cash or money order only. Students who fail to be measured by Friday, May 31st will result in a subsequent late fee for a total cost of $30.
