1. Clubs and Activities Information

Academic Award
The Senior Academic Award list will be posted at the Guidance Office. Seniors please come by the Guidance Office, and check the list for your name.

Your Voice Matters ~ School Climate Survey
This week in your science classes you will complete the 2018 School Climate Survey. Your opinions are anonymous so please be honest. YOUR VOICE MATTERS students, and change happens for the better when you share your voice. "Find your voice and inspire others to find theirs."

AP Classes for Next year
All students who have registered for an AP class for the 2018 - 19 school year are required to submit a signed AP contract to the Counseling Office by April 6th. If you did not get a contract at registration, please pick one up in the Counseling Office and return it ASAP!

Prom ticket sales
Seniors, Prom Tickets are on sale now through April 6th (not including spring break!) each ticket is $40.00! Purchase them Before school, at Lunch, & after school at the student store. Tickets will not be sold at the door!

3. General Information

Latino Outreach of WNC
Reminder, every Wednesday, a representative from the Latino Outreach Office from Western Nevada College is available from 1:00pm - 5:00 p.m. to meet with students who are interested in attending college in the fall. Also, learn more about the support available through the Latino Cohort Program. Please stop by at the High Tech Center office number 326F.

Prom dresses and tux’s
Do you have a Prom dress or a tuxedo that you will never wear again and would like to donate? CHS is conducting a Formal wear drive until this Friday. Please bring any gently used Dresses or Tuxedos to the leadership room or to your favorite club adviser. No one should miss prom because they don't have an outfit right? We really appreciate your help!

Use North Entrance
For your safety, please use the North Entrance during Nutrition Break and Lunch periods. Please do not open doors for anyone at any other entrance.

Graduation Information
Hey Seniors! Time is flying by - GRADUATION is near!
The Guidance Office needs you to provide your full legal name for your diploma.
You can fill out a Graduation Information Card in the Guidance office or submit one on Edmodo.
Submissions are due by Tuesday April 3rd.

Tesla Interviews for Seniors
Tesla is looking for 2018 graduates! Are you a senior interested in working for Tesla after graduation? If so, come to Room 104 to complete the information form and preliminary application. You must bring a current resume. Interviews will be conducted on April 26 during the Tesla tour. This is getting real seniors!

4. Testing & College Information

CTE Jump Start
We are still accepting applications for ONLY CTE Jump Start for next school year. Juniors who are interested in Advanced Manufacturing, Auto Tech, Construction Management or Cyber Security can get a head start on a career path with great employment potential, at no cost to you. Pick up an application in the Guidance Office or talk to your counselor for more information. Applications must be returned to the Guidance Office no later than April 9.
